Pan-Seared Citrus Butter Salmon
Salmón a la sartén con mantequilla y La Cítrica
Golden salmon with a light buttery sauce and a refreshing citrus-herb finish. Simple enough for any weeknight.
Serves: 2 Prep: 5 min Cook: 10–12 min
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets, 6 oz each, preferably skin-on
- 1 tsp La Cítrica seasoning
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Pat the salmon dry. Season both sides with La Cítrica and salt.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the salmon skin-side down and cook undisturbed for 5–6 minutes.
- Carefully flip and cook for 2–4 minutes, depending on thickness.
- Lower the heat, add the butter, and spoon the melted butter over the salmon for 1 minute, taking care not to let it burn.
- Remove when the salmon reaches 145°F (63°C). Spoon the warm citrus-herb butter over the fillets and serve.
What makes it different
La Cítrica supplies garlic, cilantro, citrus, onion, and pepper in one blend. The butter adds richness without covering the blend’s bright flavor.
Serve it with white rice, roasted potatoes, or green vegetables.
