Garlic & Herb Roasted Chicken
Pollo al horno con hierbas y ajo
Serves: 4 · Prep: 10 minutes · Cook: 35–45 minutes
A classic family favorite, made simple. Juicy roasted chicken with golden, flavorful skin and the comforting aroma of garlic and herbs. No complicated marinades or endless seasoning jars required.
Ingredients
- 2 lb bone-in chicken thighs
- 2 tsp La Esdrújula seasoning
- 1½ tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- ½–¾ tsp fine salt, or to taste
- Optional: 1 lb potatoes, cut into small wedges
Instructions
- Heat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Pat chicken dry. Mix La Esdrújula, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt. Coat chicken thoroughly.
- Place chicken skin-side up on a baking sheet. If using potatoes, toss them in a little oil and arrange around the chicken.
- Roast for 35–45 minutes, until chicken reaches at least 165°F (74°C) internally. Thighs are especially tender around 175–185°F.
- Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
The La Conserva difference
All the garlic, onion, oregano, bay leaf, and pepper flavors are already balanced in La Esdrújula. Just add olive oil, lemon, and salt for a flavorful roast.
Serving suggestion: Serve with roasted potatoes and vegetables, or with rice and a fresh salad.
